ABOUT THE ARTIST: Julian Johnson
Heavily involved in the Deep Ellum and Oak Cliff art scenes, painter and muralist Julian Johnson, finds his creative flow painting live in front of vibrant crowds and interactive audiences. Encouraged to take a leap into painting after a chance encounter at the Hip Hop Book club event, Julian pays tribute to black culture and revisits history through his own lens.
